With every new release for Sparrow Falls, I just fall more in more in love with the characters and this place! No one does small-town romance, suspense like Catherine Cowles.
"No athletes, never again". Famous last words for Sutton, who was just wanting to live a quiet life, running her bakery, escaping her past. A life where she was happy and safe. .One thing she didn't expect was to find that safety with a hockey player known for his brutal dominance on the ice and his recklessness off it.
Cope Colson though is so much more. He is a gentle giant that is careful and caring with her son, and someone who truly sees who Sutton is. The perfect golden retriever MMC to Sutton's black cat personality.
Suddenly Sutton's life is thrown apart yet again, and this time it's Cope picking up the pieces. The close proximity helps her start to realize that it's not just her son falling in love with Cope. There may be fire between to two of them, but Cope has secrets too, and when both of their pasts finally emerge to destroy their moment of happiness, are they able to hold on to this brief flicker of how their story could be.
I will never not be a sucker for Catherine's books and Broken Harbor is of course no exception. Every series she releases a new one I proclaim it to be my favorite, and somehow they just keep getting better and better. Broken Harbor is of course no exception to my reading trend with her worlds.
Sparrow Falls is a place you will never want to leave and the Colson family. A huge thank you to Catherine and her team for the Arc of this phenomenal story.
